About Designer Decal
Recognized as one of the premiere Screen Printers of the Inland Northwest, Designer Decal has been in business since 1972 in Spokane Washington. Originally owned and operated by founder Keith Smeltzer until 2000, Keith built the company based upon the simple principle of putting the customer first. Purchased from Keith in 2000, Designer Decal is now a member of Superior Imaging Group, a larger Kent - based print group.
Through this ownership transition, Designer Decal has retained local long-term employees and management, operating today largely as it has for years under the direction of General Manager Doug Osgood. Mark Fletcher, head of Product Development and Estimating has an extensive history in our Art Department, and has developed a solid foundation in Lean Manufacturing principles established by Toyota and other leading manufacturing firms.
As outlined throughout this site, Designer Decal is full service Screen and Digital Printing Facility specializing in full color custom production. Because nearly everything we do is custom designed to meet our cusomter's needs - we do not sell "stock" items, rather produce in a just in time, on-demand environment. Our full service staff is trained to help you with your order, and fit it into our production schedule such that you receive your product when you need it.
